After years of development, testing, revisions, and navigating the patent process, we’re proud to officially announce that the ROCKWORKX Tow Hitch Multi Tool has now received its patent.

While the product itself has already been successfully battle-tested and trusted by off-roaders for years, securing the patent marks a major milestone for the brand and the innovation behind it.

The patent process alone took over three years and included six office actions along the way. During that time, we continued refining and improving the tool through additional updates and revisions based on real-world use and customer feedback.

From the very beginning, our goal was to build something genuinely useful - a serious piece of trail and camp equipment that could live on your rig full-time and actually earn its place there.

The ROCKWORKX Multi Tool transforms any standard 2-inch hitch receiver into a versatile recovery, camp, and utility system built for real-world abuse.

Battle-tested by off-roaders and recognized with multiple SEMA awards, the tool was born from trail days, overland nights, recoveries, camp setups, and years of firsthand experience using gear in demanding environments.

When stowed, it functions as a stable hitch step for accessing roof racks, truck beds, and gear. When deployed, it becomes a highly capable all-in-one utility system.
