We have completed the initial testing on our cast metal buckles for our tire bags, and the initial tests look good.

We tested the buckle with the gate open as well as closed. With the gate closed (makes it a lot stronger) they made it to 310 pounds, with no issues. We plan to do some more destructive testing to see exactly how far we can go, and we will be posting videos of those tests.

As a result of the testing, we have gone ahead with production on the buckles, and we have our first mesh bags and harnesses coming off the production line in three weeks.

For anyone who has ordered a mesh bag, thanks so much for your patience! They did take much longer than expected, as we wanted to make sure these bags hold up to severe punishment. The good news is they are also available in additional stitch detail colors. So we will have them in gunmetal, gray, red, orange, blue and green. We will reach out to everyone with mesh bag orders to confirm which color you prefer before sending them out.
